After my son's accident, he had no muscle in his left leg so he was introduced to weight training but only with small dumbells at first. He had to start slow but eventually, your strength becomes stronger as long as you train slowly and do it regularly. Thanks for writing about this as it is good to remind us about moving and exercise, but doing it safely.
