…y cause him to react and move towards the food. He was still. I tapped the glass. Oh no! He’s gone. With tears in my eyes, I fished him out with my cupped hand, dripping water on the floor. He lay in my hand. It was the first time I had felt him. He was still bright, still beautiful.
