I had a cat who wanted to befriend me and my family, and so we started to feed the cat and let it in our home until the real cat's owner started putting pictures in shop windows in our area looking for their cat. We were devastated because they wanted their cat back. Of course, she still kept coming to us for a long time until one day she didn't. So sad.
