Thanks for this reminder. Most people ignore the rules here. Some of the rules are simple. For example, if you delete one of your published pieces from your Medium profile you cannot bring it back by republishing it on Medium even if you send it to a publication. This sort of rule is not widely known because most do not know the rules. This is one of the things that can get your account closed down.
